The provincial senator is a partner of Pérsico and will have the difficult task – if there is a STEP for this category – of overthrowing Fernando Espinozaone of the “barons of the suburbs”.

“The Homeland of the Commons party expresses the ideas and interests of humble Argentines who dream of building, from the bottom up and from the periphery to the center, a country with land, roof and works for everyone”, explain the organizers of the political party which will be presented at the end of the week.

“We believe that there must be a political expression of popular movements in our country. Social organizations are the mirror in which politics does not want to see itself,” they said in a statement.

The homeland of the commons was born from the Evita Movementbut it gained in volume last week, when the national table of Somos Barrios de Pie joined the new political space that will take part in the tumultuous simultaneous and compulsory open primaries (PASO) of the Frente de Todos.

According to Menéndez’s vision, the new political party within the Frente de Todos has a clear mission: “To express a social agenda that not shownin the ruling alliance; “to revalorize democracy as a most humble instrument to deal with an agenda of proposals that today are unresolved, such as the “Land, Roof and Work” bill which includes the universal basic wage and the free monotribute for those working in the popular economy.
