“It is with heavy hearts that we must tell you that 1899 It will not be renewed,” they said in a statement. “We would have loved to end this incredible journey with a second and third season like we did with Dark. But sometimes things don’t go as planned. That’s life. We know this will disappoint millions of fans. But we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of this wonderful adventure. We love them. Never forget it”.
According to a report by Deadline, the alliance with the “N” giant and the German writers has been strengthened by an eight-figure millionaire agreement. This will allow them to continue directing exclusive productions for their original catalog, after the success they have achieved Dark with its three seasons airing between 2017 and 2020.
