DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — World No. 1 seed Iga Swiatek remains unbeaten against American teenager Coco Gauff after beating her 6-4, 6-2 to reach the final of the Dubai Championships on Friday .

The three-time Grand Slam winner improved to 6-0 against the 18-year-old, with all those wins coming in straight sets. The Pole beat Gauff in the French Open final last year.

Later, 2021 Roland Garros champion Barbora Krejcikova will face third-placed Jessica Pegula in the other semifinal.

Swiatek defeated Pegula last week to win the Qatar Open title.
