Seoul, February 19 The armies of South Korea and the United States today responded to the launch of a long-range missile by the North on Saturday with aerial maneuvers involving more than one strategic bomber B -1 from the Pentagon, according to the State South Korean Joint Major (JCS).

The statement sent by the JCS did not specify the exact number of B-1s, but in any case with this action the allies seek to give a resounding response to Pyongyang, since Washington often deploys only one bomber of this type on the peninsula when intending to issue a warning to Kim Jong-un’s regime.

In 2017, amid escalating tension between North Korea and former US President Donald Trump, the Pentagon sent two planes, as happened in early November last year after Pyongyang fired more than 30 missiles in three days.
