Social Prosperity provided details on transfer programs: there are changing dates

Social prosperity unveiled advances for money transfers Citizen Income, VAT Refund, Families in Action, Solidarity Income, Youth in Action and Mayor of Colombia programs.

The national entity explained that the delay in the payment of some of these programs was recorded due to the restructuring activities that the entity carried out, guarantee the transfer of these economic supports target populations of these benefits.

This was announced by Carlos Alberto Chinchilla, Deputy Director of Social Prosperity Programs and Projects, at the end of February 2023, when he pointed out that “we had very normal times at the beginning of the year, during the recruitment process”.

According to the national official, these activities were carried out after a concern aroused in the Social Prosperity by the the difficulties that have arisen in the transfers generated to the most remote areas.

“We are very concerned about how these transfers are actually reaching the most remote places with difficulty,” Chinchilla said.

Transition to citizen income: The entity is attentive to receiving comments from the public on the draft resolution, which will serve as the legal basis for the implementation of the program.

Once the feedback period is over, Prosperidad Social will continue the operational processes to publish the list of beneficiaries, who will enter the program and the other steps to make the payment in April 2023.

VAT refund: activities are carried out jointly with the Ministry of Finance and the National Directorate of Planning to carry out the relocation, in accordance with what was agreed at the equity table.

Social Prosperity has announced that once the result of the relocation is available, the payment schedule will be communicated through the entity’s official channels.

Closing of the third phase of Family in Action: The entity manages the delivery of resources to families who did not collect in December 2022 “and to those who presented the materials for compliance with commitments that had not been registered for cycle 6 of 2022 “. added social prosperity.

Once the entity completes the process, he said, it will begin reporting on thethe new payment datesthrough official communications that will be transmitted on their social networks and web portal.

Closing of Solidarity Income: In this program, the national entity continues the actions that allow the delivery of resources to households that have not carried out the collection of the cycle scheduled for December 2022.

Paris of the National Development Plan: Social Prosperity explained that “along with the discussions of the draft National Development Plan, the design activities of the transfer system, the new programs of this system and the harmonization of the existing ones are in progress”.

Youth in Action and Mayor of Colombia

In the case of the Colombia Mayor program, the entity specified that the transfers would begin on March 13, 2023, corresponding to the January and February 2023 installments.

The national entity asked all citizens in general, and in particular the population benefiting from this financial support, to be attentive to the social networks of Social Prosperity for more information and details on the transfer of the corresponding payments.
