Ricardo Anaya accused AMLO of believing himself to be emperor instead of president

Former candidate for the presidency of Mexico, Ricardo Anaya, joined the wave of criticism against President Andrés Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO) after the promulgation ceremony of the 1917 Constitution – which, among other events, was transcended by the “shifting” of Tabasco to representatives of the other two Union powers.

This “nothing” to the legislative and judicial power was reproved by Anaya Cortés, who, through his traditional video chronicle, explained that said conduct would once again reflect López Obrador’s lack of respect for the law.

“Four years after being president, López Obrador does not understand that he is not an emperor. He doesn’t understand it and that’s why he surrounded himself with his generals and went to live in a Palace, a thousand times more luxurious than Los Pinos was”.

In this sense, the activist of the National Action Party (PAN) said that another of the factors “that AMLO does not understand” is “that he is the president of all Mexicans”. For this, he evoked when the Tabasco attacked the middle class and reproached “his aspirationism”.

“As if belonging to the middle class, as if having aspirations in life was something bad”, reproached Cortés Anaya and accused López Obrador of “governing for those who receive aid” from his administration but Not out of conviction, but out of interest.

This, supported by the controversial January 4 statement where the Chief Executive said that supporting the most vulnerable populations secures their support politically speaking: “You already know that when you need to defend you have their support (the poor ) (…) It is a question of political strategy”, he affirmed in one of his Morning

“Of course, the first duty of any government is to help those who have less, with those who know less, with those who can less. But out of real conviction, not as a vulgar electoral strategy”.

In this context, the blues and whites recognized the appointment of Norma Pineapple as the first woman to chair the SCJN, since her image represents – what public opinion and the opposition indicate – independence of justiceafter the departure of Arturo Zaldívar, a close associate of the president.

“The good news is that today we have a chief justice who is not going to bend. And he said to the president that day with all his words,” Anaya commented, referring to the speech that the lawyer spoke at the 1917 Constitution ceremony.
