The increase in number of detected cases of coronavirus has led the Community of Madrid to impose new measures in the fight against COVID. The third wave is hitting the whole of Spain very hard, with incidents above the first months. Faced with this situation, the community chaired by Isabel Díaz Ayuso has taken action on the matter to stop the chain of infections.
Blunt measures like advance curfew, limit social gatherings in restaurants to four people or one prohibition to meet at home with people who do not live together. On the latter, a series of exceptions are handled, among which is the care of minors or dependents.
Another action to limit social gatherings has to do with the advance closure in shops and hotels and restaurants. At 21:00, all of them must close their doors and they will not be able to serve more people in their facilities. All these measures will be in force from 00:00 hours tonight.
And the food at home?
As established in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid (BOCM), the food delivery at home once its closing time arrives, established until 9:00 p.m. from January 25. Will be able make use of this type of service for three hours, until 00:00 in the morning.
“Those workers who will provide home delivery services would be exempted from compliance with the curfew established at 10 p.m., in application of the provisions of article 5.1, section d) of Royal Decree 526/2020, of October 25, “they indicate from the council of director Enrique Ruiz Escudero. The same happens in the 56 basic health zones confined perimeter.
