This extraordinary benefit, endorsed byr Emergency Decree No. 002-2023, aims to promote the economic recovery of the sector. For this reason, the complementary standard was published, by the Directorial Resolution n° 000104-2023-DGIA/MC, which establishes the mechanisms of distribution of the bonus. Beneficiaries who will receive the bonus have been notified since February 21, 2023 via their electronic mailbox, which they can access via the Virtual platform Attention to the Citizenship of the Ministry of Culture. They will also be notified by SMS or alert when entering the Rentoca platform, with the username and password entered during registration.
Once notified, they can approach to withdraw the Rentoca bonus by presenting their National Identity Document (DNI) at Banco de la Nación branches throughout the country until June 30 of this year.
For this you must be registered in the Rentoca. You will no longer be able to access this bonus as it is only activated for artists who have registered until December 31, 2022. However, new bonuses will be granted and there are many benefits for those registered with Rentoca. 2nd step
– Select the button of the National Register of Workers and Organizations of Culture and Arts – (Rentoca), located in the No Tupa procedures section.
Step 3
– Complete the form, depending on whether you are a cultural worker, an organization with legal status or an organization without legal status. You must provide the following information:
General identification data: DNI, CE or PTP/CPP, if you are a natural person, or RUC for a legal person. District, province, department, contact.
Characteristics of the cultural worker or data of the representative of the organization: artistic name, ethnic self-identification, education, health insurance, retirement, copyright, banking, digital sales.
Economic activity: Profession and main economic activity, with the option of detailing high school, years of experience, income bracket, artistic recognition or awards.
Evidence: awards, newspaper clippings, events, photographs, links, certificates, credits, etc. and all kinds of documents that support what is declared in the previous sections.
The Ministry of Culture, by Supreme Decree No. 008-2021-MC, created the “National Register of Culture and Arts Workers and Organizations – RENTOCA”. This register is a tool that aims to capture and generate information on culture and arts workers and organizations for evidence-based decision-making and the improvement of public services of the Ministry of Culture.
Objectives of Rentoca
– Have an official and unified database allowing the identification, location and characterization of workers and organizations, formalized or not, dedicated to the arts, cultural industries and the cultural heritage of the Nation.
– Know the social, economic and work reality of cultural agents in Peru.
– Generate information to improve policies and public management of workers and organizations dedicated to the arts, cultural industries and cultural heritage of the Nation.
