RB Bragantino fails to reach third phase after losing to Ypiranga

With a landslide 3-1 victory, Ypiranga retained all three points in the duel against RB Bragantino for the 15th touch of the Brazil – Copa Brasil 2023 tournament. The goals of the match for the locals were scored by Erick (16′ 1T) , João Pedro (10′ 2T, free kick) and Jhonatan Ribeiro (50′ 2T). While the away goal is scored by Alerrandro (42′ 2T).

The best man of the match was João Pedro. Ypiranga midfielder scored 1 goal.

Jhonatan Ribeiro also stood out in Colosse de Lagoa. The Ypiranga striker scored 1 goal.

The match had a large number of cards: Marcos Vinicius, Lorran, Juninho Capixaba, Lucas Cunha, Erick, José Hurtado, Jadsom and Ralph. Patrick Borges was sent off for a direct red card in the 72nd minute of the second half.

Ypiranga coach Luiz Vieira proposed a 3-5-2 formation with Caíque in the arc; Islan, Windson and Patrick Borges on the defensive line; Robson, Mossoro, Lorran, Matheuzinho Fogaça and João Pedro in midfield; and Erick and Mark Vinicius in attack.

For their part, Pedro Caixinha’s team entered the field with a 4-3-3 pattern with Cleiton under the three sticks; José Hurtado, Lucas Cunha, Natan and Juninho Capixaba in defense; Matheus Fernandes, Jadsom and Eric Ramires in midfield; and Artur, Alerrandro and Bruninho up front.

Wagner Magalhães was the referee who directed the game at Colosso da Lagoa.

With this victory, Ypiranga went to the third phase of Brazil – Copa Brasil 2023.
