Sent to Berlin, Germany – The CEO of qatarairways, Akbar Al Baker, announced today that the company will again operate flights to Argentina. He did this as part of the ITB Berlin, the leading fair for the global tourism industry, with an Argentine delegation led by the Minister of Tourism, Matías Lammens.

This announcement was one of the objectives set by the National Institute for the Promotion of Tourism (INPROTUR). The Argentine route was one of 11 destinations the airline had suspended due to the pandemic. “It’s very important for Argentina, it’s one of the last airlines that had to come back to the country,” he said.
