SARMAT-type super-heavy intercontinental missiles, nicknamed Satan II by Western militaries, are capable of launching multiple nuclear warheads.

Putin added that the Russian military-industrial complex “will continue mass production of Kinzhal air-based hypersonic missile systems and we will begin mass supply of Tsirkon Navy-based hypersonic missiles.”

The Russian President also announced the delivery to the Russian Navy of the missile submarine of the Borei-A project, “Imperator Aleksandr III”, which represents a 100% renovation of the Russian naval strategic forces.
