INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Bryce Young has no doubts he’ll stay healthy in the NFL, and CJ Stroud thinks he’ll be moving well.

Yes, the two quarterbacks considered the best in this class have a simple message for their detractors – think again.

Young and Stroud took center stage at Friday’s NFL scouting meeting as the first and second to be interviewed at Podium 1. It’s a streak that could be repeated — or reversed — in the April 27 draft. .

Doubters of Young, a former Heisman Trophy contender, thinks he could be injury-prone in the NFL and may struggle to replicate his success with Alabama due to his height. He’s only 6 feet (1.82 meters) tall and weighs just 194 pounds (87 kilograms) with Alabama, although some believe he might be in the 1.80 meter category at Indianapolis.

Young responded calmly but bluntly, assuring he had always played well despite his size and would be fine at 200 pounds.

While Stroud was beaten because he didn’t run much with Ohio State. But in the playoff semifinal against eventual champion Georgia, Stroud played a bigger role and had arguably the best game of her career.

At 6ft 3in (1.90) and 98 kilograms he might be a safer bet, and Stroud suggests he might be a better choice.

Other prospects for the position include Kentucky’s Will Levis and Florida’s Anthony Richardson. Receivers and tight ends are scheduled to appear before reporters in the afternoon.
