Owl was twice saved from being run over on a highway in Colombia

A cyclist had a moment of heart attack while riding on a road in Natagaima, in the south of the department of Tolima in Colombia, and witness how an owl was saved from being hit by a passenger bus.

Through a video, which is already making the buzz on social networks, the bird is observed on the edge of the road laid out for cyclists when the man, who records with his camera, recounts their strange encounter.

“I almost stepped on it, baby owl, baby owl, let’s go, a bike will step on you,” the young Colombian can be heard saying as the owl begins to spread its wings to fly.

However, just as the bird decided to take flight, a passenger truck sped past, saving itself a few millimeters from being run over and frightening his savior.
