A few weeks after having reopened the doors of one of the main sectors of the imperial city. There Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Cusco announced new promotional fares from 40 soles, for all Peruvians. On this occasion, they will be able to visit 16 tourist attractions in order to reactivate the city’s economy.

All domestic tourists will be able to choose between archaeological sites and museums to learn more about history. This is how they could add one of the most visited cities to their plans.

The entity has indicated that the price which normally costs 70 and 130 will be reduced to a minimum cost. Abel Mato Leyva, regional director of foreign trade and tourism of Cusco, assured that it will be in force for a few months. In this sense, know what sites or museums you could visit. Also, until what dates will they be in effect and if this also applies for Easter.

Buying the ticket for this region reduces its prices, which will cost at least from S/40. It therefore provides access to archaeological sites.

The price does not correspond to the citadel of Machu Picchu. The amount of S/40 is only valid for the mentioned archaeological sites and museums, and also only for Peruvians.

However, the Ministry of Culture has announced that entry to any of the Seven Wonders of the World will continue throughout 2023. That is, the cost is S/64 for adults, S /32 for students in higher and/or technical education. , S/32 for minors from 3 to 17 years old and those under 3 years old will be free of charge.

These decisions are being made against the backdrop of businesses being impacted by protests in the region and acts of vandalism against hotels, road closures and other establishments. This situation caused millions of losses in front of the main entrance of the city.
