After the theft, the thieves escaped and the neighbors called 911. Immediately, personnel from the 2A Neighborhood Police Station of the City Police and SAME arrived. The victim was transferred to Fernández Hospital. “No risk to life,” it was reported.

Last Thursday, 20 blocks from where the old man was shot, also in the neighborhood of Recoleta in Buenos Aires, there was another act of insecurity. After leaving the building, the thieves got into a Toyota Corolla and fled. Shortly after, officers from the City of Buenos Aires Motorized Police Department found the abandoned vehicle a few blocks away at the corner of Coronel Díaz Avenue and Soler Street.

Inside the car, officers found a Glock pistol, a scabbard served and the license plate that matches the vehicle. The Corolla, according to sources in the case, circulated with another estate.

It is not yet clear how the criminals entered the building. The manager said he didn’t know how it happened. The keeper considers that they would have entered the apartment when the couple’s underage daughter came out to open the father. “The woman was cooking and the girl came downstairs to open the door for her. There, they took the opportunity to enter” the apartment, added the man. Once inside the unit, Cell phones and a tablet were stolen. A few seconds later came the shooting sequence.
