The Federal Employment Agency of Germany, the Public Employment Service Unit of the Ministry of Labour, with the support of the Public Employment Agency SENA and the Employment and Business Development of Compensar, the Public Employment Agency of Cundinamarca have announced the vacancies in the health sector that are in demand on European soil.

Within the framework of the Team 3.1 project, those interested must comply 100% with the profile requested and the requirements assigned by the almens entrepreneurs, if this is the case, they will be able to access the advantages offered to access this call for professional training.

This call will close on March 10, 2023 or earlier if the number of CVs required for each vacant position is reached. This request will not be available, because it will go into follow-up status even if the closing date has not been met.

The application for these vacancies must be made independently, interested persons can use the application register through the Compensar Employment and Business Development Agency or by registering the CV with the Sena Public Employment Agency.

  • Application n° 3422790 – Intensive care nurse, number of vacancies 9: hold a professional nursing diploma and possess the professional card issued by the OCE and registered in the Single National Register of Human Talents in Health (ReTHUS) .
  • Application n° 3423011 – Nurse, number of vacancies 48: hold a professional nursing diploma and have the Professional Card issued by the OCE and registered in the Unique National Register of Human Talents in Health (ReTHUS).
  • Application n° 3422734 – Nurse, number of vacancies 19: have a professional nursing title and have the Professional Card issued by the OCE and registered in the Single National Register of Human Talents in Health (ReTHUS).

Note that knowledge of the German language at the start of the project is not required, but the candidate has been asked to be willing to learn this language to certify the level required by the company.

Among the benefits and incentives that beneficiaries of this call for applications can access are:

  • The employer will cover the costs of the German course up to the requested level (minimum B1) and of the certification exam prior to the trip.
  • The employer grants a monthly scholarship during the German language course (about 400 euros, which is equivalent to 2,068,099 Colombian pesos.
  • The employer bears the costs of the process of recognition and/or approval of the foreign professional qualification: documents, translations and administrative costs.
  • The Federal Employment Agency of Germany accompanies the process before the authorities.
  • The employee will pay for airfare from Colombia to Germany.
  • Once in Germany, the employer will organize spaces for the selected people to continue learning the German language during working hours.
  • Once the process of adaptation to the language and the approval of the foreign professional qualification in Germany have been completed, the contract will be for an indefinite period.

The public employment agency SENA explained that among the costs that are not covered in the Team 3.1 project and that must be covered by the selected personnel, the following stand out:

  • Cost of visa and travel and stays in Bogotá for the visa process.
  • Repetition of the exam to certify the language level required by the company.
  • Possibly costs for the B2 German course in Germany.
  • Medical insurance required for the first 14 days in Germany.
