After the name of Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) was revealed during the trial against Genaro Garcia Luna In the United States, multiple versions and suspicions circulated on an alleged accusation of corruption by Jesus Reynaldo “The King” Zambada Garcia.

There Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat) presented the agreement with Fonatur to declare their territories as protected nature reserves.

The lands of Fonatur will be protected nature reserves

Javier May Rodriguez, CEO of National Tourism Promotion Fund (Fonatur), pointed out that in the country there are more than 16,000 hectares of territory to be declared as protected nature reserves.

“Territorial reserves of Fonatur have been identified 16 thousand 414 hectares with high environmental value that can be converted into protected natural areas. This will contribute to guarantee people their right to a healthy environment and to protect endangered species.

“Excessive exploitation of natural resources and fight against real estate corruption and the public heritage will be protected”.
