Violent day in Zacatecas: 12 people were murdered in less than 24 hours in different parts of the state

On a new day of violence in Mexico, the authorities confirmed 12 murders in the last 24 hours in different parts of the state of Zacatecas, in the center of the country, an entity with a geographical location that makes it a territory coveted by criminal organizations.

On Wednesday morning, the corpses of four men wrapped in blankets next to the train tracks in the subdivision Las Colinas, in the city of Zacatecas. Next to the bodies there was also a message signed by an organized crime group.

Around the same time, when the state police and the National Guard (GN) were guarding the area from the crime, another report ignited the flames. At the top of a hill located on the property The float, in the limits of the Morelos and Vetagrande municipalities, three other bodies with gunshot wounds were found. Two of them were tied to a cross-shaped altar that was located on the site.

Neighbors of Fresnillo, the city with the highest perception of insecurity in the entire national territory, according to surveys by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi), reported black bags abandoned on a soccer field located in the Los Balcones subdivision. They warned that it could be the human remains of three people.
