VACCINATION PLAN
At the conference it was reported that 1,900,784 doses have been applied against COVID-19 so far, but only 475,389 people have received the two necessary doses of the Pfizer vaccine to achieve immunity.
This Wednesday, Mexico City continued the second phase of the vaccination plan with adults over 60 years of age with the biological AstraZeneca in the municipalities of Iztacalco, Tláhuac and Xochimilco.
While in the State of Mexico, immunization continued in the municipality of Ecatepec, a neighbor of the capital, although the vaccination of medical personnel with the Pfizer doses has not yet been completed.
The country, with 126 million inhabitants, has committed 34.4 million doses of the American Pfizer, 79.4 of the British AstraZeneca, 35 of the Chinese CanSino, 24 of the Russian Sputnik V, 10 of the Chinese Sinovac and 51 , 4 from the Covax platform of the World Health Organization (WHO).
