ITALY, Texas, USA (AP) — Three children were killed and two others injured in an attack on a Texas home on Friday, media reported.
Paramedics responded to an emergency call at a home in Italy, Texas around 4 p.m. and two people were taken to hospital by helicopter, KTVT-TV said.
According to WFAA-TV, a woman was in custody after being stabbed at the Ellis County home. The suspect had five children, who were the victims of the attack, he added.
The WFAA reported that staff from the Office of Child Protective Services attended the home and reported the attack to the county police department.
Law enforcement authorities did not immediately respond to an Associated Press email requesting more information.
