The senator Lilly Tellez, which belongs to the bank National Action Party (PAN) and who is seeking to be her party’s candidate for the presidency of Mexico in 2024, was recently interviewed by the journalist René Delgado.

Previously, Téllez had already said what she would do if she became president of Mexico. For example, in February 2022, she said that if she were president, she would like depose the current President of Mexico Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), for being a “serial violator of the constitution”.

“Of course it’s a Serial violator of the Constitution… and we should impeach him, but the president continues to have jurisdiction, even if he says he can be judged like any citizen, he is lying,” Téllez said on this occasion.

Faced with such news, the legislator assured that her project of defending the homeland would win, since she affirmed that her objective is to work for the love of Mexico: “Let’s win for the defense of the fatherland for the love of Mexico”.

However, the outlook would be favorable for the senator from Sonora only within the PAN and the oppositiondue to the fact that at a general level – in which all political parties registered at the national level are included – the head of government in Mexico City continues to lead the preferences, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, for the National Regeneration Movement party (Morena).
