LOS ANGELES (AP) — Ultimately, Lady Gaga will have a live performance at the Oscars.

A person close to the production who knew the performance confirmed Sunday afternoon that the pop superstar would sing “Hold My Hand,” the Oscar-nominated song from the movie “Top Gun: Maverick.”

A few days earlier, the producers of the gala had said that Gaga’s work in the production of the sequel to “Joker” (“Joker”) would not allow her to participate, but apparently there was a change after her statements, this which allowed the artist to join the ceremony.

With an additional performance from Gaga, all of this year’s nominated original songs will be performed live at the Oscars. Variety first reported the change in plans.

Rihanna will perform “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava will sing “Naatu Naatu” from Chandrabose and MM Keeravaani from the movie “RRR”. Songs from “Tell It Like a Woman” and “Everything Everywhere All At Once” will also be performed.
