For the eighth 3 of the 2022-2023 Europa League tournament, Juventus won against Friborg by two goals. The visitor’s goals were scored by Dusan Vlahovic (44′ 1T, penalty) and Federico Chiesa (49′ 2T).

Federico Chiesa was applauded with his brilliant finish after 49 minutes in the second half. On a cross from Adrien Rabiot, the midfielder defined with a precise strike in the opposing goal, from the large area.

Bremer’s shot hit the post after 26 minutes and Juventus lost their chance to take the lead.

Meanwhile, Massimiliano Allegri’s side came out with a 3-5-2 tactical arrangement with Wojciech Szczesny under the three sticks; Danilo, Bremer and Federico Gatti in defence; Juan Cuadrado, Nicolò Fagioli, Manuel Locatelli, Adrien Rabiot and Filip Kostic in midfield; and Moise Kean and Dusan Vlahovic up front.

Serdar Gözübüyük was the chosen referee for the match at the Europa Park Station stadium.

With this victory, Juventus left Freiburg out of the tournament and reached the quarter-finals of the 2022-2023 Europa League.
