President Gustavo Petro announced, via Twitter, that all police officers who were detained in San Vicente del Caguan (Caquetá) have been released, after being detained by protesters in the corregimiento of Los Pozos, from Thursday, March 2 at the headquarters of the oil company Emerald Energy. The release was achieved through the efforts of the Ministers of Defense and Interior.

“Thanks to the efforts of the Minister of Defense and Interior, all the police and oil company officials detained in San Vicente del Caguan, Caqueta, have been released.”
