LOS ANGELES (AP) — Paul George scored 42 points and led a fourth-quarter comeback to help the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Memphis Grizzlies 135-129 on Sunday to snap a five-game skid.

Kawhi Leonard had 34 points and 10 rebounds in the Clippers’ first win since the All-Star break.

The Clippers were crushed in the third, in which the Grizzlies scored 51 points, before responding in the fourth quarter.

George and Leonard scored all the points in a 17-0 series as the Clippers erased a 10-point deficit to lead 124-121. George scored the first eight points and Leonard finished with the last nine, including a 3-pointer and a dunk.

Desmond Bane scored 30 points, Tyus Jones 25 and Jaren Jackson Jr. another 24 for the Grizzlies, who were playing without star Ja Morant. He is sidelined indefinitely while the NBA investigates a social media post in which the point guard appeared to be holding a gun.

The Grizzlies trailed 84-79 but focused late in the third quarter. Jones scored 20 points in that quarter and impressed the crowd by hitting three 3-pointers and hitting field goal after field goal.

Jones made one of his 12 assists on a pass to Santi Aldama, who scored and then dived on the next possession. Bane closed the quarter with 3 straight points that made it 112-97 for Memphis.

The Grizzlies opened their streak with 12 straight points, six from Jones and a three-pointer from Jackson that tied them at 84. In the third quarter, they edged the Clippers 51-30.
