HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has agreed to a three-year, $67.5 million contract with the Las Vegas Raiders, a person familiar with the matter told The Associated Press on Monday.

The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the deal cannot be announced until Wednesday.

Garoppolo’s contract includes $34 million guaranteed, the person added.

Garoppolo has played with the San Francisco 49ers for the past six seasons and led the Niners to the Super Bowl in the 2019 season.

Prior to that, he played three years with the New England Patriots under offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who is now the Raiders head coach.
