CLEVELAND (AP) — Darius Garland had 21 points and seven assists, Donovan Mitchell scored 20 points and the Cleveland Cavaliers took a 35-point lead in Saturday’s game, beating the Detroit Pistons 114-90.

Evan Mobley had 16 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and four blocks, Jarrett Allen had 15 points and Caris LeVert scored 11 for the Cavs, who are fourth in the Eastern Conference with 16 games remaining.

Mitchell, an All-Star starter who sprained a finger in his left hand in the third quarter, played just 24 minutes, like Garland. The Cavs swept the four-game season series with Detroit.

In each of those games, the Pistons fell below 95 points.

Cleveland is 40-26 and holds a one-and-a-half-game lead over New York for home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Marvin Bagley III had 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Pistons.
