“This announcement is very important because it recognizes the efforts of 600,000 workers. This measure will remain permanent since, from now on, each time the income tax floor increases, the ceiling up to which family allowances will be received will also be assimilated.

Family allowances for each child range from $2,059 to $9,795 per month, depending on income levels. However, the amounts can reach $31,900 in the case of disabled children or $21,124 depending on the region of the country where the family receiving the benefit lives.
