In the middle of the Security Conference in Munichgermany former president Juan Manuel Santos confirmed that he would meet dad francisco to thank you for the contribution you generated during the peace process in Colombia.

“I am going to Rome next and will have an audience with His Holiness. I will, among other things, thank you once again for all the support you have given us in the peace process. Really, for what he has done for Colombia and his historic visit to the country, we have no way of thanking him,” the president said in dialogue with the On the radio.

Santos was invited because he is a member of ‘The Elders’, an organization founded by Nelson Mandela to which world leaders working for peace belong. Other guests who will be part of the conference which takes place each year are the vice-president France Marquez and the chancellor, Alvaro Leyvaa day when the questions of foreign police and of global security.
