And that is why Summit Agro’s excellence in innovation, Japanese research and development makes Gemmit Top available to the Argentine producer, a herbicide formulated based on flumioxazin, which thanks to its micronization process -which decreased the particle size – It makes the use of the product more efficient, allowing effective weed control from the seed and enhancing crop yields.

The product

Gemmit Top is a herbicide formulated based on 48% flumioxazin from the group of so-called PPOs (protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitors), which has excellent residuality in the soil and foliar control of some small broadleaf weeds as well as leaf species wide and in the suppression of grasses. Among the main species are the black branch, red yuyo, rye grass, cruciferous, among others.

“Today flumioxazin is positioned as one of the tools chosen by the producer to control weeds and keep their crops clean,” said Martínez Van Den Dooren. The product is also registered in other crops such as vine, stone fruit trees, sorghum, etc.

Likewise, the company highlights that Gemmit Top has a greater effective contact surface, with 84% more specific surface than a flumioxazin without micronization; superior stability in mixtures due to less precipitate of the active; and a better dispersion of the particles in the broth, with greater achievement of mixing and homogeneity in the tank.

Finally, it is worth noting that The product has a “low risk for the user and for the environment” since it is an ideal green band product for peri-urban applications.
