Tokyo, February 26 Ethiopian Hailemaryam Kiros (26) won the Osaka marathon (western Japan) this Sunday with a time of 2 hours, 6 minutes and 1 second, while for women, the Ethiopian Helen Bekele Tola did the same, with a time of 2 hours, 22 minutes and 16 seconds.

The marathon started this Sunday at 9:05 a.m. local Japanese time (midnight GMT), with a group of six women leading the women’s category at a pace of 2 hours and 22 minutes, while in the men’s category the pace was also good, with the Ethiopian riders dominating in both.
