The journalist Epigmenio Ibarra accused the national president of the National Action Party (PAN), Marko Cortes Mendoza, of to be a “delivery man”after the PAN member condemned the fact that President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) does not accept help from the Drug Control Administration (DEA, for its acronym in English).

Through his official Twitter account, the founder of Argos Comunicación asked his followers what they thought of the former federal deputy, after expressing his disagreement in a press release because The Mexican government does not accept foreign aid to curb the deaths, violence and unrest of citizens.

“Marko Cortés affirms that AMLO must “immediately resume the necessary collaboration with the DEA to fight against the drug cartels that generate death, violence and unrest in Mexican families”. How do you see the PAN delivery man?“, he wrote this Sunday, March 12.

Ibarra’s words came hours after the national leader of the PAN issued his usual weekend statement, where, on that occasion, he questioned the Mexican president about his position, after some proposals that were expressed by some United States Congressmen in reference to the fight against fentanyl.

First, Cortés Mendoza judged that López Obrador would have been subjugated by the Joe Biden administration so that, “without receiving anything in return”, Mexico is the country of return for migrants who fail to enter the United States.

“As part of the bilateral meeting with President Biden, it was evident that López Obrador was overpowered when, in exchange for nothing, he accepted what no other president has: that our country is formally the backyard when welcoming all deported non-Mexican migrants. . the United States”

In view of this, the blue and white leader recommended to the Tabasco politician that instead of continuing his “belligerent and false speech of national sovereignty”, he recognize that there has been a “resounding failure” in securitywith which he could accept foreign aid.

“Immediately correct and resume the necessary collaboration with the DEA to fight drug cartels that generate death, violence and unrest in Mexican families”

And it is that the PAN member has ruled that the Mexican government and the United States Congress presumably have knowledge of what is happening in the country in terms of security, a scenario that, as he explained, is much worse than one might imagine, because the strategy did not work.

“The American government and congressional analysts, he added, know very well that the results of this government are much worse than in the past, than the López Obrador administration is the bloodiest and most permissive in modern history“, he condemned,

Cortés Mendoza’s words came after disagreements the Mexican president had with lawmakers Dan Crenshaw, Lindsey Graham and John Neely Kennedy, after he proposed that elements of the US military can intervene and fight drug gangseven in Mexican territory.

The measure was announced at a press conference on Wednesday March 8 and they decided it was a response to the increased use of fentanyl with which the American government had to fight, because it was only in 2022 that it claimed the lives of approximately 71,000 American citizens.

However, the president López Obrador denied that his administration was going to accept the proposal Republican, because he considers it to be intervention in national affairs by foreign elements.
