The tycoon criticized the creation of a one world government
Billionaire Elon Musk warned on Wednesday of the dangers of a one world government. He said so during a video intervention at the World Summit of Governments in Dubai.
The owner of Tesla and Twitter used his appearance at the conference to criticize the idea of a single political authority.
“I know it’s called the ‘World Government Summit’, but I think we should be a bit concerned about this one world government,” he said.
And I add:Too much cooperation between governments can endanger our civilization”.
For the second richest man in the world, the rise and fall of ancient civilizations did not mean the end of humanity, precisely because they were separate and not fully interdependent.
“As Rome fell, Islam grewMusk said.
“There was a kind of caliphate that did it incredibly well, while Rome did it terribly, and that ended up being a source of knowledge preservation and a lot of scientific advancements,” the Tesla owner said.
During his speech, Musk reiterated that one must be careful to be a bloc of a single civilization, because there may be a risk of collapse.
“We should have a number of diverse civilizations such that if something goes wrong with one part of the civilization, the whole thing doesn’t fall apart and humanity continues to move forward”, he finished.

During his 35-minute speech, the businessman touched on a wide range of topics, from his fears about artificial intelligence to the collapse of civilization or the possibility that aliens exist. But questions on Twitter arose again when he pointed out that Tesla and SpaceX could operate without his direct day-to-day involvement.
Musk said he hopes to find a new CEO for Twitter “probably towards the end of this year.”
“I think I need to stabilize the organization and make sure it’s in a healthy financial position.“, Musk said when asked when he would appoint the new CEO. “I guess probably towards the end of this year.
Musk made a fortune on the financial web PayPal and later created the aerospace company SpaceX and invested in electric car maker Tesla. Recent attention has focused on the chaos surrounding its $44 billion purchase of the microblogging platform.
On the other hand, the Ukrainian military’s use of Starlink satellite internet service in its defense against Russian invasion has linked Musk to the conflict.
“Twitter is still kind of a backwards startup,” he said. “We must work for Twitter to reach a stable position and build the engine of software engineering”.
Musk also attempted to portray his acquisition of the San Francisco company as cultural correctness.
“I think the general idea is to reflect the values of the people instead of imposing the values of San Francisco and Berkeley, which is a niche ideology compared to the rest of the world,” he said. “And, you know, Twitter was, I think, doing too much to push a niche.”
Forbes estimates that Musk’s fortune is close to $200,000 million and places him as the second richest person on the planet behind French luxury tycoon Bernard Arnault.
