Through its social networks, EDC 2023 has announced that due to the environmental contingency, there will be no fireworks this Friday. However, this measure was suspended around 6:00 p.m. on February 24, so it is expected that there will be fireworks on the second and third days of the electronic music festival.

This decision was taken because the maximum ozone value around 6:00 p.m. on February 24 was 113 ppb, at the Cuajimalpa station. This means that it is no longer necessary to activate an environmental contingency phase. “The conditions of February 25 should improve compared to those recorded this Friday,” said CAMe.

It should be noted that after music, pyrotechnics is one of the most anticipated elements of EDC.
