Every year, dozens of people enjoy the renowned festivals of Holy Week to enjoy a break with the family, discover new places or even do a “pigage”. If you want to cool off or take a good sunbath, one of the recommendations is to visit the Oaxtepec water park.

This is Hurricane Harbor, a theme park that is part of the chain of six flags and is located in the city of Oaxtepec, in the municipality of Yautepec in the state of Morelos.

In addition to being considered a small tropical paradise, it has incredible water and children’s attractions, as well as restaurants, souvenir shops and its unique waterslides.

Before knowing the rates and passes that this great spait will be necessary to take into account some advice if you plan to visit it, because like any place, it has guidelines to follow.

It is also requested to enter with everything necessary to Hurricane Port, since once inside, you will no longer be able to enter.

Access to food will be limited and will only be allowed in cases such as baby food, infant formula, among others. However, it must be announced to site staff to receive permission from the site.

The use of photographic, video or GoPro cameras is not permitted while visiting the attractions.

-400 pesos – ticket general admission

-190 pesos – discount card INAPAM and pregnant

-190 pesos – for the disabled

They also have special passes, which offer something more to their customers and are divided as follows:

* Platinum Pass (999 pesos)

– Unlimited visits to both parks i.e. Six Flags Mexico Amusement Park and Water Park.

-15% discount on food and selected souvenirs

* Diamond Pass (Mil 699 pesos)

– Unlimited visits to both parks.

-Free parking (prior reservation)

-20% discount on food and selected souvenirs

All of the aforementioned passes or tickets can be purchased on the park’s website.

To go from Mexico City to Oaxtepec, you can take the highway Mexico-Cuernavaca Leave the Calzada de Tlalpan and continue along the road following the signs to Oaxtepec.

Another way would be to take the Xochimilco-Oaxtepec highway, in this case, exiting through Tlalpan and after crossing the Azteca stadium, take the first exit on the left. There’s a gas station and that’s the road to Xochimilco.

You can then continue straight until this last point and then follow the signs with the legend Milpa Alta.

In the case of buses, you can take the units that depart from the Southern Bus Stationwhich is located next to the Taxqueña metro station or hire the tour service offered by the water park on its page.

In accordance with the health protocols managed by the venue and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which continues to affect the country, it is suggested that you access it with a face mask and use it during your stay, although the company suggests that they could be adjusted according to the introduction of new programs.
