Montpellier and Lens made no difference during their 25th meeting, held this Saturday at the Mosson stadium.

With a goal from Angelo Fulgini they started to win the visit early in the first half, however, in the 58th minute of the second half Faitout Maouassa equalized for the hosts.

One of the highlights of the match was Faitout Maouassa’s goal in the 13th minute of the second half. After receiving a pass from Joris Chotard, the striker entered the goalkeeper’s right post.

Kevin Danso smashed a shot on the post and missed the chance to add to the lead in the 56th minute of the second half.

Lens took more shots than their rivals (18 against 8: 8 on target, 1 on the post and 8 offside), but they weren’t enough to win the game.
