Peru experiences one of the most critical seasons of the year. This measure was formalized by Supreme Decrees No. 034-2023-PCM and No. 035-2023-PCM, published in extraordinary editions.

Regarding Supreme Decree No. 034-2023-PCM, several boroughs in the regions of Lambayeque, La Libertad, Cajamarca and Piurawho suffered damage on their territory due to heavy rains.

Regarding SD Nº 035-2023-PCM, the declaration of emergency reaches some provinces in the regions of Áncash, Apurímac, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cusco, Huancavelica, Huánuco, Ica, Junín, Lima, Moquegua, Puno and Tacna. To this list is added the Constitutional Province of Callao. Heavy rains pose a threat to these places.
