The Chinese Ministry of Health has reported 31 cases of COVID-19 in the last day, 11 of them with symptoms and 20 asymptomatic, none of them of local origin.
The Chinese health authorities have indicated that in the last 24 hours a new suspected case from abroad has also been recorded in Shanghai, while there have been no deaths from the disease, so the total number of fatalities remains at 4,636.
With the latest data, China has already accumulated 89,806 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic broke out, 520 of them patients who are currently in treatment, ten in serious condition. On the contrary, 84,650 people have recovered.
On the other hand, more than 350 asymptomatic cases are also under medical observation, 288 of them from outside the country.
Regarding the situation in Hong Kong, the health authorities have reported 10,812 accumulated cases and 197 deaths, compared to 10,270 who have managed to overcome the disease.
