The adviser of the National Electoral Institute (INE), Ciro Murayama, took advantage of his Twitter account to congratulate the “massive resignation” of the members of the Executive General Council (JGE) on March 3, since she considered that such a position fell within the responsibilities of civil servants before the new applicable amendments.

In this sense, the electoral adviser recognized the decision taken by his colleagues who, with their departure, sought to facilitate the new formation of the presidency of the INE in the light of the changes described in the electoral reform recently approved and promoted by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO). , better known as Electoral Plan B.

The announcement of the directors of the electoral body specified that the decision taken was taken in collaboration with the adviser to the president, Lorenzo Córdova Vianello, which will take effect from March 31 to April 3 of the current year.
