ChoriFest 2023: how is the Buenos Aires event that worships the most chosen sandwich by Argentines

Once again, the Carnival weekend is accompanied by a very Argentinian flavor: the choripan. is it the Chorifest It is one of the most awaited parties for lovers of this traditional Argentinian sandwich.

When? This Saturday February 18 and Sunday February 19in the Palermo Hippodrome. Thus, from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., and with FREE ENTRANCE, Those who enter this meeting of flavors located on Avenida Libertador and Dorrego will be able to experience unique moments.

In addition to the gastronomic fair, you can even enjoy new attractions for the whole family. With traditional cooking stalls and a product market for barbecue lovers, this event promises unique moments for adults and children alike.

Choripán is one of the most popular sandwiches in Argentina. It has been recognized worldwide as one of the best sandwiches in the world with four stars, according to the specialty food magazine Taste Atlas. And what better than to celebrate it in the already famous ChoriFest

In this edition, the Chorifest will bring together 30 positions and food trucks which will offer a wide variety of choripanes. From traditional signature choris, with different meats, breads and dressings, this event is a delight for every palate. Even chefs and grills will surprise the public with tasty creationsclassic and innovative.

Some examples that have left a good taste in our mouths in other editions and which will return this time?

– Lamb chorizo, with red onion, yogurt, cucumber, mint and sweet potato.

– Vegetarian chori, with eggplant, spinach, goat cheese and honey

– Smoked Choripán, with mushrooms, lettuce, orange and garlic.

– Traditional Choripán with Creole in the field.

You can also taste other delicacies from the argentinian grill, such as: gizzards, guts, roast strips, bondioles, loins, ribs; and also empanadas, wines, craft beers and desserts. Likewise, there will be vegan and tackless proposals, wines, craft beers from Rabieta and desserts.

On this occasion, the fair which in its last edition brought together 20,000 people, will add some new features:

– Grill market: a space with proposals for barbecue fans: heaters, smokers, barbecue kits, braziers, mini spiedos, clothing and accessories.

– Playground for children: didactic games, a plastic arts area and a reading corner so that the little ones can also have fun at the fair.

In addition, from Sunday noon, all participants in the event will be able to enjoy a best turf day in the grandstands of Buenos Aires and get closer to the world of horses.
