The country is ready to live a carnival weekend full of tourists

“The main destinations of the country will have a occupancy between 90% and 100 percent”, detailed the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

The favorite destinations for the Carnival weekend will be those of the Atlantic coast, the towns of Entre Ríos, the mountains of Cordoba and Patagonia.

Regarding international tourism, they said that it has shown a “great recovery” and that it will be strongly felt in the city of Buenos Aires, Iguazú, Mendoza, Salta, Bariloche, Ushuaia and El Calafate.

“During the period from Friday 17 to Wednesday 22 February, the flagship company will carry 170,670 passengers inside the country, exceeding by 15% the number of passengers transported during the 2020 Carnival holidays. This means that more than 28,000 passengers per day on average will travel from one point of the country to another”, detailed Aerolíneas Argentinas.

During this time, the 10 most chosen destinations They are: Bariloche, Ushuaia, El Calafate, Mendoza, Iguazú, Córdoba, Salta, Tucumán, Mar del Plata and Neuquén. These localities represented 55% of the total movement of the next carnival weekend.
