Carla Humphrey, adviser to the National Electoral Institute (INE), was excluded from the race for the presidency of the organization. This was determined by the Technical Evaluation Committee on the afternoon of March 3.

The adviser was excluded due to “the agreement regarding candidates who present an impediment of a constitutional nature to participate in this process, which includes candidates who are currently acting electoral advisers at the INE or who have served as such”.
