The film will follow the story of Peace, a brilliant African-American researcher at Yale University who combines his role as a scientist in the fight against cancer with the illicit sale of marijuana.

Actor Jay Will (“Tulsa King”, 2022) will play the protagonist, while Mary J. Blige (“Mudbound”, 2017) and Ejiofor (“12 Years a Slave”, 2013) will play their parents.

The screenplay was written by Ejiofor and it is the second feature film directed by the actor after his debut, “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” (2019), also written by him.
