“We seek to position craft fairs in important celebrations and events in the country. The fair, which was installed in the historic center of Cajamarca, began on Monday February 13 and ended on Wednesday February 22. On average, sales were recorded for around 10,000 soles each day.

During the development of the carnival, works of all kinds of craft lines such as pottery, ceramics, stone and wood carving, musical instruments, jewelry, textiles and plant fibers were offered.

Cajamarca, once again, has shown that tourism and trade are great sectors for the development of the region, especially since it generates jobs, sources of activity, the reactivation of small businesses, restaurants , tourist guides, hotel reservations, etc.

Despite the fact that a few weeks ago Cajamarca was also part of the social protests, these traditional festivals have been respected so as not to generate chaos or economic imbalance in the city.
