MILWAUKEE (AP) — Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo fell hard on his back after a shot on the field Sunday and was ruled out of his team’s series opener against the Miami Heat with a concussion at the lower back.

Antetokounmpo slowly got up but stayed in the game to attempt his free throws after being fouled by Miami’s Kevin Love with 4:13 left in the first quarter. The two-time MVP stayed in the game until his second foul two and a half minutes later.

After leaving the match, Antetokounmpo went to the locker room. He came back with 9:56 left in the second period, but came back with 8:33 left.

Antetokounmpo had six points and three rebounds in 11 minutes for the Bucks, the NBA’s top team.
