London, 23 Feb. The price of a barrel of Brent for delivery in April closed on Thursday on the London futures market at 82.21 dollars, an increase of 2% compared to the previous day.

North Sea crude, a benchmark in Europe, added $1.61 from Wednesday’s close, when it ended at $80.60.

Brent partially recovered today from the nearly 3% drop suffered the previous day, when fears weighed on the stock market that rate hikes in the United States and other powers would weigh on demand.

European crude trended higher as investors focused on supply pressures that the expected cut in Russian production could cause. EFE
