PHOENIX (AP) — Devin Booker scored 25 points, Chris Paul added 16, and the Phoenix Suns beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 124-115 on Friday night.

The rising Phoenix have won 12 of their last 16 games, and that’s not counting the fact that they’re still waiting for superstar Kevin Durant to return to the court when he recovers from a knee injury. Durant will make his Suns debut following his release from the Brooklyn Nets.

Terrence Ross hit a 3-pointer at the final buzzer of the third quarter, giving the Suns a 94-87 lead. Phoenix led the rest of the game, and Booker’s 3-pointer with two minutes left in the game gave the Suns 11 points.

Isaiah Joe led Oklahoma City with a career-high 28 points. The guard, who is in his third year in the league, made 11 of 17 shots, including 6 of 12 from 3-pointers. Jalen Williams added 22 points.
