Boca Juniors has just announced a sponsorship deal with the company Direc TV which was initialed until December 2025. Like River Plate, those of La Ribera will wear their new sponsor on the back of the shirt, specifically in the area below the number. More than eight months have passed since the first team last played a game with advertising on their shirts.
“We are celebrating this agreement with Direc TV which consolidates the avant-garde position of the club in all areas. And we welcome our new sponsor with the achievement of the Argentine Super Cup, star number 74. Although the figures were not made public, GlobeLiveMedia was able to discover that Boca would pocket some $2.5 million per season thanks to this advertising alliance.
