The deadly gun and knife attack occurred in northeast Thailand
At least 30 people were killed in a gun and knife attack at a children’s center in northeast Thailand on Thursday, local police said.
The massacre occurred in Nong Bua Lamphu province, and local media said that the victims included young children and their parents.
A man shot and stabbed people inside the facility before fleeing the scene, and a manhunt is now underway.
The police warn that the suspect is armed and dangerous. Thai media identified him as a former police officer who was recently relieved of duty.
