At least 10 men robbed a bank in Cesar with a bullet: the confrontation with the police was recorded on video

A shooting was reported in river of gold after at least ten thieves rob a Cesar bank.

In the videos of citizens caught in the crossfire, it is possible to observe and hear the magnitude of the events.

According to the first versions of this fact, at least ten subjects entered the Agrarian Bank of this municipality of south of caesarto commit millionaire theft.

The authorities were alerted to the theft, so they went to the area to deal with the situation; however, the robbers, who were traveling on motorbikes and carrying long-range firearms, greeted police with gunfire. In the confrontation, apparently, there were no deaths or serious injuries.

The crossfire caused panic in the small town, where street vendors had to leave their businesses to protect themselves from bullets. Several bystanders had to do the same, running towards commercial establishments to avoid being hit by the gunfire.

In addition to the attempted robbery, during which they did not take what they had planned, the thieves also allegedly decided to attack the Rio de Oro police station, Cesar. This is indicated by some versions that have transcended social networks.

It should be noted that in some of the videos captured by citizens from their homes and business establishments, it is possible to observe some of the criminals who participated in these events.

However, it appeared that most of the thieves had their faces covered, which made it difficult to identify them. The authorities announced that the respective investigations are already underway to clarify the facts, as well as to discover the identity of the criminals, locate them and capture them.

Although the thieves failed to take the money they planned to steal, Cesar Police Commander Colonel Luis León confirmed to local newspaper El Heraldo that yes they took money which was closer to his hands.

According to the police version, only five of the criminals entered the bank, who tried to take the economic resources that were protected in the institution’s safe.

However, what they would have managed to take was the money that was in the tills when they entered the bank. In the criminal action, none of the officials of the financial institution were affected, as confirmed by the Cesar police.

“There were no people captured, the idea is to do a job well done. There is material evidence and the guys were hunted in rural areas, there were no captures until now and even fewer wounded. there is the Army support the sector”, added the commander in the dialogue with the local media.

In the local media, it was also said that apparently the criminals who took part in the events were members of an outlaw armed group; however, this will be established after investigations.
